Welcome

Welcome!!!

Biomimicry is a powerful tool for sustainable design and has been used by students and professional designers and engineers alike.

The Green Engineering and Sustainable Design class at Yale University employs biomimicry as a tool for product design as well as the focus of an in-class, idea-generating and teamwork activity.

This site is dedicated to sharing the activity and serving as a hub of communication around the biomimicry workshop!  Please share your experiences, photos, insight, or anything else (!) with the community.

A set of materials to kickstart your effort is ready for download now.  As more shared resources become available, you can find them in the Download Workshop Materials tab.
